Property Privacy
It is our policy to only host one guest party at a time, unless expressly agreed to in advance. To accomplish this, we have a 4 person 3 day minimum. Call for last minute smaller group bookings.
Transportation
To/from Homer & Seldovia is included in our custom built 28" landing craft. Alternative transportation is available in inclement weather.
Adventures & Excursions
Multi Species fishing, both near shore and off shore. Premium Gulf Fishing for the extreme enthusiast is available, for a fuel and extra guide surcharge. We know Cook Inlet, call and discuss.
Meals
Great Home style meals. Our guests rave about our food. Janet is the oldest girl in a family of 10 other siblings, and grew up helping cook. Scott is the breakfast and grill master.
Guided Fishing
One day Cook Inlet off shore fishing adventure is included in a 3 day minimum package. 5 days get two trips. (4 person minimum) If you are an extreme fisher, lets talk fish. We can make it happen.
Whale Watching
The best way to see whales is to spend time on the water. Often we see them while exploring other options, like remote kayaking, or fishing. A tour of Kachemak Bay is standard, and sometimes a hit
Fresh Linens
We have a laundry on site and you will have clean fresh linens and towels as needed. Additional laundry service available, tips are appreciated for this service.
Equipped Kitchen
We just finished our new cook house dining cabin, next to the beach house, All meals are included, unless prearranged. Dietary restrictions are also accommodated. Furnished kitchens in both cabins.

Provided for heat, showers and cooking.
24/7 Staff
To assist with logistics and transportation needs, comfort and safety.
Unlimited Kayaking
Seldovia Bay is great paddling. Two double kayaks and two single "fishing" kayaks. Two paddle boards.
Bathrooms
A brand new flush toilet, shower and vanity bathroom is in the cookhouse-dining cabin. Both the Beachouse and Treehouse have compost toilets, with a hot shower - vanity in the beach house.
Wood Heat
A beautiful Hearthstone wood stove is provided with sufficient wood to burn. Please get instructions on operating this stove.
Cell Service - WiFi
Verizon works best - ATT very spotty. We have a cell phone signal booster for ATT and a remote WiFi hot spot router to allow you to keep in touch. We strongly encourage you to unplug.
Ancillary Adventures
We can arrange for Bear viewing and or glacier viewing flights, and we are close to Kachemak Bay State Park, which has a glacier hike. There are many hiking opportunities for all ages and fitness.
Halibut Cove - KBay tour
We make getting there an adventure. We'll explore Kachemak Bay Archipelago, and can include a trip to the quaint community of Halibut Cove and points between. Keep an eye out for whale and otters.

Beach Landing Picnic
Cruise in our 28' landing craft and enjoy stunning views and a picnic lunch on Sandy Beach in Seldovia Bay. The views are incredible, and it's a fun family time.

Above adventures are options you can choose from. We usually focus on one or two adventures per day as time and weather allows.

Extra fishing
Weather permitting, we offer Gulf of Alaska fishing adventures or additional days fishing for those desiring an advanced fishing experience. Gulf and extra days fishing are negotiable, just ask.
Tipping guidance
Tips are not expected but greatly appreciated. Our young deck hand would be blessed, and if we exceeded your expectations, a thank you gift is greatly appreciated.
Fish freezing - shipping
There is a local company that will vacuum pack and freeze your fish. Bring a good cooler to fly home for best result. UPS shipping available too. Etra handling charge for Homer drop off to ship.
Flights from Homer
Seldovia is served by small plane by Smoky Bay Air. it is a 15 minute flight. Parking is limited at the airport. Ask about a glacier flight on the way. We will pick you up at Seldovia Airport.

Get in touch with nature
Hike the Otterban trail from Inside Beach to stunning Outside Beach before a picnic lunch on the beach and a UTV tour to the Campground Overlook. For the intermediate, Rocky Ridge Trail is a challenging trail close to town. For the go getters, a hike or run up to the newly cleared Red Mountain, a historic mining area, will put you in the Alpine of the lower Kenai Peninsula. It's a 12 mile ride out of town to the trail head. Option bicycles are available to rent in town.
